Bio
Drinkmilk is composed of Luc Cimino and Gracie Margherita Elbel.
Through 3 main diciplines of scultpture, writing and performance, the duos work reflects on the loss of sensuality in relation to digital interaction.
They investigate the lack of slowness and silence within a culture of speed and consumption, using queerness as a lens to navigate. Valueing methods of making that are laborious, processes that physically impact their bodies and require patience such as pouring concrete and hand forming chainmail. They value you the vulnerability and ferality that can be accessed through language and storytelling.artform. The use of multidiciplines is to express concepts through a breadth of understanding.
Drinkmilk is rooted in the intuitive; acting out of instinct, similar to that of an animal. They search for where intimacy resides in an age of overexposure and ask how we might reclaim queerness, ambiguity, embodied presence and naturalness.
